Vladimir region is one of the oldest centers of formation of Russian culture and statehood. In terms of the number of historical and architectural monuments, our region occupies one of the first places in the country. Vladimir has preserved unique white stone monuments included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, the most famous of which is the Church of the Intercession on the Nerl, which has become one of the symbols of Russia.
